When an usual number of high school students begin dropping out in Harrison, the Teen Titans are called to investigate, sending the team racing against custom cars.A strange looking car robs a bank in Gotham. Meanwhile, the Teen Titans are called to Washington, D.C. They are sent to Harrison, where the high school has an unusually high drop-out rate. When they get there they get a weird case to investigate; Danny Robinson, a Honor Student who was popular had dropped out as soon as he had become of age. The Teen Titans meet Ding Dong Daddy, who gives them a tour of his place where he builds custom cars. Behind a steel door (which Ding Dong Daddy wouldn't show them behind) Kid Flash sees that people are working on building custom cars for selling to gangs. And Ding Dong Daddy is having the drop-outs build the cars for him.Right after the Titans leave his shop three vehicles leave the shop. Wonder Girl, Aqualad, and Kid Flash each follow one. The Teen Titans come up with a plan to show the drop-out kids what is really going on. With the help of the drop-out kids the Teen Titans defeat Ding Dong Daddy. All the kids who dropped out promise to go back to school.
